BIM IFC training
Learning objective
In the training, participants acquire technical and application-related knowledge of Industry Foundation Classes (IFC).
You will receive an overview of various workflows, including those in the area of Model View Definitions (MVD) and Provision for Void.
Upon completion, participants will be able to understand and implement the requirements and specifics of IFC import and export.
The practical handling of IFC files is taught in various exercises using provided IFC models and software demonstrations.
Requirement
• Knowledge of 3D object modeling
• Knowledge of modeling in BIM-enabled authoring software
Recommendation
BIM basic knowledge according to VDI/bS

Seminar duration
8 teaching units (UE) of 45 minutes each in web presence.
