It is practical, systematic, and tailored to the demands of your work in the planning, construction, and operation of infrastructure projects. Building on the fundamentals of the BIM Foundation Seminar (Professional Certification Foundation), you will deepen your knowledge in information management for road, rail, power line, civil engineering structures, and waterways. This qualifies you for the buildingSMART Advanced Knowledge Infrastructure certification and enhances your competence in the digital planning and implementation of infrastructure projects.

Our practical training is based on the international buildingSMART Infrastructure framework curriculum and teaches how openBIM® processes connect the entire life cycle of an infrastructure project. From alignment and subsoil modeling to Digital Twin, as-built, and operation. The focus is on the confident handling of information: you manage data instead of chasing after plan approvals, you efficiently coordinate digital workflows, and you work securely with IFC, IDS, and LOIN on a CDE within the overall model.

The BIM:infracert complete package includes a preliminary e-learning module for theoretical introduction as well as an online seminar. The e-learning module conveys the exam-relevant content in a clear and varied way, supported by gamification elements and interactive quizzes that promote understanding and specifically prepare for the exam. The practical part takes place in a two-day practical seminar, where you immediately apply your theoretical knowledge through demonstrations and hands-on exercises.
This is how you acquire sound, practice-oriented knowledge at the BIM Professional Advanced (Management Level), directly from project practice and in accordance with international buildingSMART standards.
