Building on the basics from the BIM basic knowledge seminar (Professional Certification Foundation) and your practical project experience, you can now acquire the buildingSMART/VDI certification as a BIM Management Practitioner. The application-related further training, based on the international buildingSMART framework curriculum, the VDI guidelines 2552 8.2 and 8.3 as well as current practical requirements, is aimed entirely at practical implementation and the acquisition of skills in operational and strategic BIM management.

In BIM management or information management (according to VDI 2552 sheet 7) you are - in addition to the BIM implementation in the company - in the context of the project management process mainly entrusted with the recording of the customer's information requirements as well as the definition of the BIM goals and applications. You are responsible for the organizational tasks for the definition, implementation, compliance and documentation of the BIM processes over the entire life cycle of a building. At the same time, information management is authorized as the contact person for the client to select and set up a Common Data Environment (CDE).
