Professional openBIM Practitioner Coordination & Management
The next level of BIM certification is here. Become a buildingSMART | VDI certified openBIM Professional in BIM Coordination or BIM Management. Our practice-oriented seminars are based on national and international standards (e.g., DIN EN ISO 19650, VDI Guidelines 2552 8.2 and 8.3) and impart skills in BIM technical and overall coordination, as well as in operational and strategic BIM management.

BIM Practitioner Coordination
The internationally certified data and information juggler in the BIM process
Building on the foundations learned in the BIM Basics seminar (Professional Certification Foundation) and your practical modeling experience, you can now earn the buildingSMART/VDI certification as a BIM Coordination Practitioner. This application-oriented training, based on the international buildingSMART framework curriculum, VDI guidelines 2552 8.2 and 8.3, and current practical requirements, is fully focused on practical implementation and competence acquisition in BIM specialist and overall coordination.
In this seminar, you will learn how to use various tools to combine specialized models into coordination models, conduct quality and model reviews, and clash checks, and implement change management. You will learn how to handle BIM execution plans, comply with client information requirements, and work with Common Data Environments (CDE). The practical implementation of coordination will be taught in various exercises using provided IFC models, CDE access, and demo software.

• Model export & model import in openBIM

This application-oriented training, based on the international buildingSMART framework curriculum, VDI guidelines 2552 8.2 and 8.3, and current practical requirements, is fully focused on practical implementation and skills acquisition in operational and strategic BIM management.
